Wales Cont.

A day with a picnic in the park, learning history and discovering beautiful desserts is a day well spent. The top level of a double decker bus gave an impressive view of the scenery on the way to Chester for lunch in the park. We walked along River Dee and the old Roman walls where Allanah’s grandma gave me history lessons. In the evening, we went with a group of 13 ladies for coffee and desserts. I had a latte and the BEST waffle (there’s photo evidence).

Oh my goodness, the food looks so wonderful. Your picnic lunch and the latte and the wonderful waffle. I wish I could sample that one. It is beautiful over there.
